Effect of Brunnstrom Movement Therapy Combined with Neurodevelopmental Therapy on Balance and Mobility in a Patient with Acute Stroke: An Interesting Case Report

Stroke is the world's second leading cause of death and third disability. Ischemic strokes account for 68 percent all worldwide, while hemorrhagic 32 percent. A stroke a medical emergency that requires immediate attention. Early intervention can help to prevent brain damage other problems. The present case report 24 year male suffered with on 24th July 2021. He was private employee in hospital. presented weakness left side body. treated by using brunnstrom movement therapy Neurodevelopmental (NDT). period 4 weeks. First two weeks as inpatient last outpatient. one hour per day, 5 days week Modified Ashworth scale (MAS), recovery stages upper limb, lower limb trunk were taken pre post treatment. There tremendous improvement both limbs. Patient able walk perform activities. Thus conclusion, combination NDT an effective treatment strategy early patient.
